The global pandemic will have far reaching economic implications for landlords and tenants across the nation especially in the State of California. In efforts to curb the economic strain on landlords and property owners, our firm will be aggressively analyzing potential property tax savings opportunities for commercial and residential tax payers. Properties include multifamily apartment buildings; office buildings; commercial and industrial buildings; vacant land; single family residential homes, etc.

Our firm for years has filed and successfully appealed cases before the Assessment Appeals Boards in the State of California especially in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, and San Bernardino Counties. My recommendation at this time is to provide us with a spreadsheet of properties and property tax bills that you believe will be in need of our review for potential property tax savings. If you are experiencing a reduction in rent receipts or projected rent receipts in compliance with the City Ordinance on rents due to the current health crisis, we will be able to help off-set the reduction in terms of reduced property taxes.

Another specific area that our firm looks at is your Direct Assessment amount for Sanitation, listed on your property tax bill. If your current charge is in excess of $5,000, we could apply for reduced Sanitation Bill on your behalf. Some of our clients qualify for as much as 80% reduction in Sanitation Direct Assessment, depending on the property type and water consumption rate.
